How to organize jewelry //

I am ashamed to admit how long it has taken me to tackle this project, and how bad it had gotten. But in the spirit of sharing and being honest things are about to get real.

I love accessories. Almost as much as my kids. Almost. I swoon for expensive pieces but will totally rock a Forever21 trend to! I am very allergic to earrings not being gold so that is limited....tragic I know.

It's time I share the state my collection has been in. Please no judging.

no that is actual dust. I said it was bad. After about 2 hours of going threw every piece and deciding what to keep and what to sell it started looking real purdy. First we must need a clean blank canvas........

I did it....now all my favs are on showcase and I can find what I want and be inspired by more! Feels so euphoric to have this little project done! Because you all know I love vintage I picked up some fun dishes to store and display babbles. I also reused adorable boxes that some of the pieces came in like Kate Spade. Books are always a must for staking, and some-kind of bust or stand to hang the long stuff on. 
In the clean out I found a few pieces I plan to sell, so be sure to follow my instagram at recycleddesign if your interested!

Shwings // They make you fly

I hope everyone had an awesome Fathers Day weekend, and loved their special guys. We sure did and we even got a bonus moment too! My baby bro and his wife had their first little nugget on that very day. They named the lil' one Nixon, he weight in at 8 lbs 14 oz.....wowza! Mine were all like 6lbs. Congrats to them, we are all so excited!

In honor of adorable kids I thought I would share my new favorite kids product. I have two boys so these have been tested and approved by both.

These legit wings attach to any shoe style and come in loads of great colors. They have been known to make you run and jump higher, so children be ware!

Taylor Headphones in Rose Gold // By Frends

Monday's are not half bad if your weekend really rocks. Plus getting something super awesome in the mail makes it even better. I have been dying to share my Taylor head phones with you! Are they not just the sexiest thing you've ever seen? Creamy white leathers and rose gold ears. They are pretty much jewelry. Le' sigh.....no doubt I will be sporting these all the way to Key West next month.

Decorating with Locker Sets //

Happy happy Friday! I know it is for meeee! A weekend we are all going to be home and not a whole lot to have to do! Sounds perfect.

My girl Kirsten over at 6th Street did the best post on decorating with vintage lockers, and since I can't keep them in the shop because they sell so fast I thought I would share the great ideas.

I have this adorable orange set in the shop right now....not sure if it will be there after the weekend. Lockers are hot hot hot right now! My baby's 4 today // And an Art Party Invitation

Gahhh my baby is turing 4! Today, four years ago this 6 pound boy changed our quiet little family forever. Our little Ledger came out knowing he was the last and ready to cause chaos. Why wouldn't we give him everything he wants? He's the baby.  My heart is breaking, he is crossing into big boy hood. Has anyone perfected that pause button yet? I just want to snuggle his tiny self again.

I mean. We are all pretty obsessed with this tiny person. He will make you laugh till you pee, and in the same breath make you want to lock him away in a room till he's 20! Happy birthday my adorable and charming Ledger, we love you to pieces!

Now onto the big party planning. You want to know how a 4 year old celebrates his big day yeah? He throws an.......ART PARTY!

I really wanted him to be involved with his big day, so he painted each envelope for all his buddies. He was so proud of every one!
